This vintage buffet sideboard was no doubt beautiful in all of its former lifetimes but that doesn’t mean you can’t give it an update with paint every now again!
I’m not sure what this beauty looked like in her original form but this is what she looked like when she came to me – an olivey green. Not bad. But not exactly exciting.
Her owner wanted something brighter and since this piece will be going in a large open space she could afford to go as bright as she wanted. There were several other darker and wooden pieces in the room to anchor it.
We decided on the color when she pulled out a table runner she planned on putting on her gorgeous all wood farm table. It was the exact color of Chloe by Maison Blanche.
A bold bright green tamed by the addition of light brown wax and strategic distressing.
I hope to get to share another picture of her in her gorgeous home. As beautiful as she is all by herself she’s simply breathtaking nestled in at her big bright country home. Can I go live with her Suzy?!
