Plus, this piece wasn’t in perfect shape, as are most of the pieces I redo. It was fine structurally but needed some cosmetic work.
I love this blue-y, green -y color.
A mid-century piece is known for its lines and this one didn’t originally come with knobs. Clearly.
But man, I really, really love what these knobs add.
The colors just blend perfectly and there’s just something about gold and gilded goodness that I am loving these days.
I’m diggin how it turned out!
look, it’s smiling now!!!
I know! I see a face too! 🙂
Good job! I love mid-century modern stuff but I’m too chicken to use it…
I’m not great at using it in my house either but it sure it pretty in everyone else’s
I really like how this turned out! I would totally put this in my bedroom!
Thanks Kevin! That’s a great compliment!

Love the shape, love the color you chose, love the knobs!
Normally I like MCM to stay unpainted, but this is excellent!
Thank you very much! I usually like it to stay unpainted, too. Or to be super shiny! 😉
I love how that turned out too! I wish I could find pieces like this at yard sales/thrift stores. I never have any luck with furniture findings!
Oh no! I used feel that way and then I realized I just wasn’t going shopping often enough. 😉
Came out Beautiful .I love the knots also. Great Job Lisa
Thank you so much Lisa!

Cute! Perhaps, I’ve watched too many animated movies where inanimate objects come to life, but does anyone else think it looks like ithas a face? lol
It looks like a face to me, too! Reminds me of something from Minecraft 😉
