Growing an Herb & Veggie Garden in 3 Easy Steps

Southern Revivals | Growing a Garden in 3 Easy Steps with Scott's Gro Ables

These days it’s all about healthy living and fresh eating. If you’re like me you’ve realized that often involves time and money you don’t have. But what if you could quickly, easily and inexpensively grow some of your own food right in your backyard?

Well, you absolutely can with these Gro-ables seed pods. Everything you need to grow a garden of your very own. Each pod contains soil, seed, and mulch and is guaranteed to grow, less than a $1.50 each and Non-GMO seeds! You don’t even need a yard to have garden fresh herbs and veggies – these are easily grown in a container. And they are so easy to grow, anyone can do it in just 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Just peel the label from the top of the pod.

Step 2: Pop the pod into your container, bed or garden.

Step 3: Thoroughly water them in! It’s that easy! And in just a few weeks I’ll have a delicious selection of veggies and herbs.

Some lovely Butterhead lettuce for a fresh salad, basil {which I could put on just about anything!} would make for a nice Caprese Salad. But my all time favorite thing to do with fresh herbs and veggies from the garden are my kind-of famous refrigerator pickles with fresh dill, garlic, and cucumbers. The dill I’m growing in my new container garden will be perfect for this much-requested recipe. I am hungry now just thinking about it!

Personally, I love gardening and the reward of feeding our family fresh from the garden foods. However, I didn’t seem to inherit my great aunt’s super green thumb – she was reportedly so good she could grow things even in the air, according to my great uncle. So I’m grateful for something so quick and easy. All of the reward without as much of the effort. Or the money!

So what will you grow? And what fresh recipes will you be creating with your new herbs and veggies?
