Easy Breezy Halloween Decor with Chevron Burlap

I love the holidays in large part because I love to decorate. If I could decorate 24/7, I totally would. But sometimes life gets in the way and you have to let some things go. This year I have so much on my plate {I feel so blessed to be able to say that!} that I didn’t have time go all out the way I normally would. But to skip it all together would have been heartbreaking, especially with small children in the house.

So. I saw this delicious chevron burlap ribbon at Hobby Lobby the other day and I thought, I can work with that! I took things I already had around the house, including some plastic pots I bought fall arrangements in last year, added some mums and cornstalks and, voila’, carve me and call me decorated!

I took that one roll, all 15 yards, and wrapped it around everything. Added some ‘Happy Halloween’ burlap around it on the planters and some fun ribbon around it on the cornstalks.

And there you have it! Now I need to cut the grass…

At least it turns out to be a pretty good spot to take pictures of one of my Lil Punkin in his skelly jammies.

Couldn’t forget about the chickens. It was like I’d installed a playground. They likey!

And it’s officially stamped, ‘Big Mama Approved’!
